What is the useful purpose of scales in playing guitar music?
Please explain how to use them when playing the guitar.
there are a lot of uses for scales in guitar, especially in the pentatonic scale. Scales help you while you are playing a solo or to come up with riffs for a song. Artists like: jimmy page (led zeppelin), slash (G’s & R’s) and angus young(ACDC) are famous because of their riffs and all of these are based in scales.
